Warm Packs, Gardening, and More at SOCOPA’s Event for the Elderly

If you’re an older member of the community, you know how important it is to stay warm and healthy during the colder months. That’s why SOCOPA recently held an event just for you, and it was a huge success!

One of the highlights of the event was the distribution of warm packs, which included heated blankets and draught excluders. These items were a lifesaver for attendees, who were grateful to have the extra warmth and protection against the cold.

But that’s not all we had to offer! Help the Aged also joined us, providing a wide range of valuable advice for people aged 50 and over. From hot food to tips on how to stay warm, attendees had the opportunity to learn more about how to stay healthy and comfortable during the colder months.

We also had a fun gardening activity – bulb planting! It was a great way for attendees to get their hands dirty and learn more about gardening. Plus, it’s a great way to get some exercise and fresh air, even if you can’t go outside.

The event was a huge success, and attendees loved meeting in this way. We’re already planning more events like this for the future, and we hope to see even more members of the community join us for our next one. Don’t miss out on this amazing opportunity – stay tuned for more updates!
